We've all seen security cameras at airports and Walmart stores but these days, LED lights are being embedded with camera systems to obfuscate the visibility.

LED lights have many advantages when it comes to using them with surveillance cameras. They last 10 times longer than traditional bulbs, consume less energy and are Eco-friendly. They also emit a bright white light that illuminates objects and colors well, making them great for deterring trespassers and allowing security personnel to easily identify people and vehicles.

However, LED lights can also cause glares on the lens of security cameras when they are turned on. The best way to prevent this is to install the lights higher than the camera or use shielded bulbs that are angled away from the camera. Also, be careful not to point lights directly at the camera as this can blind it with blooming and streaking.

A solution to this is to install motion-activated security lights that will turn on and off at the same time as your camera. This will prevent glares while still keeping intruders and other unwanted guests off the property. Additionally, look for LED security lights that have night vision capabilities. These will allow your camera to capture a clear image even in low-light or no-light conditions and can work 24/7.
